This is a differential balanced valve automatically opens the air port fully when the downstream pressure iss anout 50% of the upstream pressure.Without a pilot,the upstream air flows downstream through the regulation needle.When an external or pneumatic solenoid signal is generated,the valve opens the main port create full flow.It doesn't relieve the downstream circuit.
